New Planmeca ProScanner® 2.0 imaging plate scanner

The new Planmeca ProScanner® 2.0 imaging plate scanner is a high-quality option for fast and dependable intraoral imaging. With intelligent design details and outstanding durability, the scanner supports everyday tasks at a dental clinic – providing reliability that is hard to match.

Planmeca ProScanner® 2.0 has been designed to be a seamless part of a dental clinic’s intraoral imaging workflow. It is a true workhorse imaging plate scanner that is maintenance-free and extremely durable. The compact scanner fits into any room, helping all clinics prevent downtime and ensure maximum efficiency.

The imaging plate scanner utilises RFID technology for a fast scanning and identification process. Its smart imaging plates can be used numerous times with an integrated eraser instantly preparing them for further use. The flexible and bendy plates are very comfortable for patients and available in the most common sizes – 0, 1, and 2.

It is very easy to use Planmeca ProScanner 2.0. The user only needs to insert an imaging plate, scan it, and diagnose the captured image. Each plate is equipped with a digital serial number, so that all images can be sorted, viewed, and compared for reliable quality control. The serial number can also be used to count exposures in Planmeca Romexis® – the comprehensive dental software platform that combines all imaging and CAD/CAM work.
