Intraoral imaging that adapts to your needs
The Planmeca ProX™ intraoral X-ray unit easily adapts to both short-cone and long-cone imaging techniques. Thanks to the machine’s steady X-ray imaging arm, the lightweight tube head can be positioned accurately and without drift.
Quick imaging parameter settings for daily convenience
The Planmeca ProX device comes with pre-programmed settings for different exposure value combinations. The imaging parameters are automatically retrieved according to the selected exposure region and the diagnostic requirement. You can also adjust these values manually whenever you need to.
More usability through intraoral sensor integration
Combining Planmeca ProX with the Planmeca ProSensor® HD dental sensor elevates user-friendliness to the next level. See images obtained on-screen just seconds after exposure.
Seamless workflow with Romexis® imaging software
The easy-to-use Planmeca Romexis® dental imaging software offers a rich selection of tools for viewing and processing 2D intraoral images. Diagnose images using our full range of intuitive enhancement and annotation tools or organise images effortlessly into customisable study templates.
Exposure value documentation made easy
The Planmeca ProX intraoral X-ray unit automatically records exposure parameters directly to Planmeca ProSensor HD sensors as well as the imaging plates of the Planmeca ProScanner® 2.0 imaging plate scanner. The Romexis software also supports parameter recording for 3rd party TWAIN intraoral images. This automation improves reliable dose traceability as well as accurate documentation without manual data entry – saving time and reducing transcription errors for a safe and easy imaging workflow.
Flexible installation options for varying clinic setups
Every dental clinic is different, which is why it is important to offer different types of options for integrating equipment. Planmeca ProX can be installed in various ways to match the individual layouts and workflow preferences of any clinic.
Real-time operational analytics via Planmeca Insights™
