Our Planmeca ProSensor® HD intraoral sensor offers a unique combination of unparalleled image quality, high-end patient-centred design, and advanced usability for a smooth professional and patient experience. High-definition images for accurate diagnostics
Supporting detailed diagnostics, Planmeca ProSensor® HD intraoral sensors capture sharp, low-noise and high-contrast images. With a true resolution of over 20 lp/mm, the intraoral sensor delivers HD image quality, and its wide dynamic range ensures successful results each and every time.
Maximum patient comfort
To fulfil all intraoral imaging needs, Planmeca ProSensor HD sensors come in three different sizes. Their rounded edges make imaging more comfortable for patients, with outstanding images ready in a matter of seconds.
Clever solutions for better daily usability
The magnetic connector makes Planmeca ProSensor HD intraoral sensors simple to attach, with the white colour enhancing visibility to further ease positioning. The sensor’s elegant control box is equipped with a colour-coded LED light that provides instant visual feedback on the imaging procedure, while the hermetically sealed housing ensures effective infection control.
Lasting durability – time after time
Intraoral sensors are naturally subject to wear and tear in daily use, but Planmeca ProSensor HD has been built to last. The sensor’s carbon fibre plate prevents bite marks, its shock protection layer guards against minor damage, and its strengthened cable further improves durability.
Added efficiency with Planmeca intraoral X-ray unit
The Planmeca ProSensor HD intraoral sensor has been designed for flawless compatibility with the Planmeca ProX™ intraoral X-ray unit, improving efficiency at every step. With Planmeca ProX, the patient dose and imaging parameters can be recorded automatically in Planmeca ProSensor HD images, facilitating documentation and quality assurance. Thanks to its smooth magnetic connector, the sensor can be easily attached using just one hand.
Effortless workflow in Planmeca Romexis® software
Planmeca ProSensor HD integrates seamlessly with the Planmeca Romexis® dental imaging software, making images instantly available on all workstations across the clinic right after capture. Powered by AI, Romexis automatically identifies individual teeth in intraoral images based on their shape and assigns them with the correct tooth number. It also rotates images so that each tooth is displayed in the correct orientation – even if the imaging plate was positioned incorrectly during scanning.
