The Government of the Republic of Singapore, with the agreement of the Government of the Republic of Finland, has appointed Mr Karl Heikki Kyöstilä as Singapore’s Honorary Consul-General in Helsinki, Finland, with jurisdiction throughout Finland.

The Honorary Consul-General will support the work of Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Finland Jayalekshmi Mohideen. This appointment will further enhance Singapore’s bilateral ties with Finland.

Mr Heikki Kyöstilä, 72, is the Founder and President of Planmeca, one of the world's leading dental equipment manufacturers and the largest privately held company in the field, with sales in over 120 countries. Kyöstilä is a board member of several prominent Finnish companies.

As Honorary Consul-General, Mr Kyöstilä will perform representational duties and notarial functions as well as extend consular assistance to Singaporeans. The address of the Singapore Consulate-General in Helsinki is as follows:
