Extensive legroom

The side-lifting chair and small cuspidor base of our dental units provides maximised legroom for both dentists and assistants – allowing the whole team to get as close as possible to the patient. The narrow backrest further supports optimal dental unit ergonomics by ensuring excellent access to the oral cavity.

Balanced instrument arms

All our dental units feature ergonomically balanced instrument arms. The mid-bending arms contribute to a short activation track for instruments – minimising stress on the shoulders. The asymmetric mounting of the instrument hose and balanced arm prevent the hose from getting stuck behind the arm while sideway movements ensure perfect access to the oral cavity. You can adjust the balance according to your preferences.

Ideal visibility in all situations

The accurate positioning and ultra-bright illumination of our operating lights provide perfect visibility over the entire treatment area. With three rotating axes in the light head, you can flexibily adjust the light from the upper to lower jaw position. Infection control is also efficient due to hands-free light-intensity adjustments and autoclavable handles.

The intuitive touch panel of Planmeca dental units is straightforward and easy to use. Dental unit functions, treatment positions, instrument settings and presets can all be flexibly customised according to preference and need.
