We are pleased to hear that Dr Omar Hamid has been honoured at this year’s IMTJ Medical Travel Awards. Dr Hamid and his clinical team in Vienna received the award for International Dental Clinic of the Year 2020.

Dr Omar Hamid is a second-generation dentist and engineer from Austria. He focuses on all aspects of digital dentistry by combining his engineering background with his knowledge of dentistry and digital dental technology. Today, he runs two clinics in Vienna and speaks internationally on digital dentistry-related topics. He is also currently President of the Austrian Society for Arabic Dentists as well as Vice President of the Austrian Arabic Doctors & Pharmacists Society.

Dr Hamid’s clinics in Vienna are both equipped with all the latest digital technology, from Planmeca dental units to CBCT imaging units and CAD/CAM solutions. His state-of-the-art equipment includes the Planmeca Sovereign® Classic dental unit, Planmeca ProMax® 3D Classic imaging unit with the Planmeca ProFace® 3D photo system, Planmeca Emerald™ intraoral scanner and Planmeca PlanMill® 40 S milling unit.
