Comprehensive imaging programs
Planmeca Viso G5 includes a complete range of imaging programs, from 3D dental and ENT programs to 2D imaging as well as cephalometry. The device enables everything from single tooth to full face imaging.

Pioneering patient and FOV positioning
Thanks to the integrated cameras of Planmeca Viso G5, the patient can be viewed live from the control panel for precise FOV positioning and free volume adjustments. The open architecture of the X-ray device also allows the patient to face the user for improved communication and patient comfort during positioning.
Innovative rear head support
Planmeca Viso G5 comes with a pioneering read head support for a still more comfortable patient experience. It does not cover the patient’s ears and provides both space for the patient and stability to the imaging process. Planmeca CALM motion artefact correction further ensures you get the right image the first time – even without the chin cup.
Benefits of 120 kV tube voltage
The 120 kV tube head of Planmeca Viso G5 enables using a higher kV, when necessary. The higher kV provides better X-ray penetration that is particularly beneficial when imaging patients with larger heads or with e.g. metal objects. The result is a high-quality image with reduced artifacts.
High-precision endo mode
Planmeca’s proprietary Endo mode enables capturing high-resolution CBCT images with a 75 μm voxel size for endodontic diagnostics and treatment planning. Enhance images quality even further with the AI-based Planmeca NOA™ noise optimisation tool.
Cephalostat option
The Planmeca ProCeph™ one-shot cephalostat further enhances orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. Its adjustable image sizes and short exposure times offer flexibility and reduce the need for retakes.

Face photos with Planmeca ProFace®
