Planmeca
Planmeca is the parent company of Planmeca Group, specialising in the design and manufacture of high technology dental equipment. The company’s product range includes digital dental units, CAD/CAM solutions, world-class 2D and 3D imaging devices and comprehensive software solutions. The company has also pioneered in developing and marketing digital dental practice concepts that allow efficient and ergonomic information management. Planmeca Oy was established in 1971, and it is the largest privately owned company in the dental field today.
Planmed
Planmed Oy, established in 1987, develops, manufactures and markets advanced imaging equipment and accessories for mammography and orthopedic imaging. Planmed’s extensive mammography product range covers digital and analog units, and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT), stereotactic biopsy devices and breast positioning systems for early detection of breast cancer. For orthopedic 3D imaging Planmed offers low dose extremity CT imaging for quicker, easier and more accurate diagnosis at the point-of-care. Planmed has its headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

Plandent Oy is part of Plandent Division – the largest chain of modern dental supply houses in Northern Europe. Plandent Oy is a full- service dental supply company that provides dental practices and laboratories with dental equipment, instruments, materials and material management solutions, as well as installation and maintenance services. Plandent Oy, established in 1972, is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. Plandent Division operates in nearly 15 countries throughout Europe.
KaVo Dental
KaVo Dental is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of dental care units, instruments and laboratory equipment with a strong worldwide brand presence. For more than 100 years, KaVo has focused on innovation and quality in dental products and services, building an outstanding reputation among dentists, dental technicians and dental hygienists. KaVo joined Planmeca Group by company acquisition in 2022. The company is based in Biberach, Germany.
LM-Instruments
LM-Instruments Oy develops, produces and markets high-tech dental hand instruments and their tracking system together with ultrasonic devices, orthodontic appliances and more. The company is the fastest growing manufacturer of hand instruments in Europe and the market leader in the Nordic countries. Founded in 1973, LM-Instruments joined Planmeca Group by company acquisition in 1999.

The main product is Opus Dental, the most popular practice management solution in the Nordic countries, which supports the key dental treatment processes and the practice workflow. Founded in 1993, the company joined Planmeca Group by company acquisition in 2000.
Triangle Furniture Systems
Triangle Furniture Systems Inc. is a forerunner in dental practice cabinetry solutions and sterilisation centres, which take into consideration the demanding infection control requirements for the treatment environment. The company was founded in 1979 and became Planmeca’s subsidiary in 2005. Triangle is based in Montreal, Canada.
