Planmeca Sovereign has both motorised chair swivel and motorised unit base. This unique combination provides treatment possibilities and ergonomics you never thought possible. The motorised swivels allow switching the entire unit from 10 o’clock position to for instance 14 o’clock position effortlessly for different specialty treatment needs.
The entire workflow can be optimised to perform specialty treatments, such as integrated CAD/CAM, implantology, laser treatment, prosthodontics or even anaesthesia in the same room. All necessary specialty equipment or materials can be optimally organised for seamless and efficient clinical workflow.
Motorised movements for perfect treatment positions
The purpose of the motorised movements is to minimise human movement or cumbersome treatment positions for dentist or assistant.
With the foot control or touch screen interface the patient chair can be conveniently swivelled in an optimal position for the dentist to have ideal access to the treatment area. It is even possible to move the entire cuspidor base in case extra space is required.
Swift conversion from right- to left-handed dentistry
Planmeca Sovereign can be instantly converted from right- to left handed use with motorised movements.

The touch panel can be connected to either side of the console or to the assistant side.
For perfect infection control, the functions can also be operated with foot control featuring identical logic with the touch screen interface.
Full instruments control and interchangeability
