Planmeca is ISO 9001 certified which ensures that all production and customer service functions are continuously evaluated and improved. Planmeca is also proud to support the ISO 14001 international environmental management standard.
Quality
All our products are subject to rigorous quality control during manufacture and exhaustive testing before they leave the factory. Only in this way can we ensure that customers receive products of the highest quality.
Planmeca’s quality systems have been certified against the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. In addition, the products sold in Europe qualify to display the CE Mark.
The quality system has been certified by Det Norske Veritas Classification. The accredited certification body has verified that the organization and all the functions of Planmeca fulfil the requirements stated in the standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Environmental policy
Planmeca Oy conforms to environmental requirements established by the laws and applies for the voluntary environmental activities methods described in the standard ISO 14001 (environmental management systems) as appropriate by including the necessary procedures in the quality system.
By implementing environmental policy Planmeca aims to assure satisfaction and co-operation with the customers, suppliers and other parties. To achieve the established targets, Planmeca is applying economically viable best available technology. The company personnel is committed to continuous improvement.
The environmental policy is applied in such way, that the adverse environmental impact of the company is minimised during the whole process by reasonable economical input. Further more, potential unexpected and accidental incidents are prepared against in advance.
The recycling of the package and product to be disposed is considered during the design process at which time also the applicable raw materials are selected.
Planmeca reports the company’s environmental activities and plans, and take into consideration the response.
