Planmeca PlanMill® 60 S
Powerful 5-axis milling unit for dental offices
This powerful 5-axis unit allows for wet or dry processing, can mill discs or blocks, and has an automatic tool changer for up to 10 tools. This milling unit is an open solution that can be added to any scanner workflow, allowing clinicians to achieve maximum productivity while providing highly accurate and esthetic restorations.
Designed for dental offices
Specifically designed for the needs of dental laboratories and technicians, Planmeca PlanMill 60 S supports a broad range of indications from dental restorations and to bite splints and implant crowns and bridges. The 5-axis unit can also be used to mill custom implant abutments, bars, and partial frames accurately. Planmeca PlanMill 60 S is also a great tool for dentists willing to produce more advanced dental restorations and applications in house.
Versatile dental milling
Planmeca PlanMill 60 S can mill discs, blocks, and custom titanium implant abutments. The milling unit is capable of both wet and dry processing of a broad range of materials, including zirconia, lithium disilicate, pre-milled titanium abutments, PMMA, and wax.
Quick clamping system
Planmeca PlanMill 60 S supports a variety of material holders, which can be changed by the user quickly and easily, when needed. With a half-open blank holder, the milling unit can be used for milling even the most demanding restorations for the anterior area. The platform-based design with interchangeable clamping fixtures also allows introducing new features to the unit later.
Seamless design software integration
The seamless integration between Planmeca PlanMill 60 S and Planmeca PlanCAD® Premium design software allows users to create dental restorations that always fit precisely. The milling parameters and instructions are transferred to the milling unit directly from the design software, leading to predictable results. With the software, users can design a comprehensive selection of dental restorations and applications.
Simple nesting software
The Planmeca PlanMill 60 S milling unit is used together with an easy-to-use Planmeca PlanCAM™ software, which calculates necessary milling paths for selected materials and indications. Restorations designed with the Planmeca PlanCAD Premium software can be directly launched to Planmeca PlanCAM for nesting, guaranteeing a fast and easy workflow in the busy laboratory environment. Planmeca PlanCAM also supports all open STL files.
